All Studio Giftoria wrapping paper comes on a roll, 30 inches wide, in three lengths. On this page you will find the exact sizes, a simple way to work out how much paper you need, and what to expect from the paper itself.
Roll sizes
| Roll | Size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 30" x 36" (76 x 91 cm) | One or two small to medium gifts |
| Medium | 30" x 72" (76 x 183 cm) | A few gifts, or one large box |
| Large | 30" x 180" (76 x 457 cm) | Party season, big boxes and stocking up |
The width can vary by up to 0.5 inch.
How much paper do I need?
Measure around the box (the girth) and add 2 inches for overlap. For the other direction, take the length of the box plus the height, plus a little extra to fold the ends. If the result fits within 30 inches one way, one roll width is enough.
A quick example: a shoebox of about 13 x 8 x 5 inches needs a piece of roughly 28 x 19 inches. That fits on the width of the roll, so the small roll covers one shoebox with paper to spare, and the medium roll covers two or three.
Which roll should I choose?
- Small (36 inches): perfect for one special gift, or to try a design before you buy more.
- Medium (72 inches): a good choice for a birthday or baby shower with a few presents, or for one large box.
- Large (180 inches): for busy gift seasons, families with lots of birthdays, or when you want one design for every gift.
About the paper
Our wrapping paper is printed on 90 gsm fine art paper with a smooth matte finish. The print is high-definition and on one side only, so the back is blank. Each roll arrives rolled up and starts with a short blank protective sheet. Unroll past it to reveal the printed pattern.
Pattern size
Every product has a close-up photo that shows the pattern at its real size, so you can see how big the motifs will look on your gift. Larger motifs work best on bigger boxes, while smaller, busier patterns also look good on small presents.
Wrapping tips
- Cut on a flat surface and use the edge of the roll as a straight guide.
- Fold the cut edge over by half an inch for a clean seam.
- Use double-sided tape to keep the seams invisible.
